Three work colleagues and I are going too. Rus, you going anywhere before or after? Not sure what our crowd are doing yet.

Does anyone know if there is a possibility of getting tickets for Paul Weller on the door tonight? if so how much?
Allershausen
According to Muenchen ticket there could be tickets on the door. At his previous concerts there were always tickets available.

I got my ticket last Saturday at the ticket counter at Marienplatz. I heared also that they alway hold a good amout of tickets for selling at the door at Muffathalle, but dont blame me if they do not, times are changing. I would try it first at Marienplatz and then at the Muffathalle. Ticket says door is open from 7:30 pm, start is 8:30 pm.

3 work friends and I are meeting up at Molly Malones for about 6:30 for a bite to eat and something to drink before moving onto the gig. Anyone else dropping by?

Great concert last night. Superb mix of old and new. I enjoyed the the support act too. I had no idea who she was at first, although the voice was somehow familiar, of course when she sang her single it all became clear! smile.gif

TQM ...total quality musicianship ...i think we had 2 and a quarter hours or so ..highlights for me being Long Hot Summer and A Town Called Malice of course ...as for the solo stuff ...plenty off Stanley Road ..the major major highlight of the night being Walk on Gilded Splinters ...as ever a top backing band with the Ocean Colour Scene dudes and Steve White who was chilled throughout until he hammered his drum kit into oblivion at the end of In The Crowd .. after the White Stripes then this ..I am knackered and am holding out for the Arctic Monkeys in a couple of weeks time at the Atomic ...

Yep, I thoroughly enjoyed the gig; the bass and drums complemented each other perfectly and both Weller and the other guitarist (Craddock?) were magnificent! One of the best, and longest, gigs I've been to in a long time!

BTW The drum solo was completely brilliant, definitely my highlight! smile.gif

The Godfather of Mod said it himself - this was his best concert in Munich EVER ! One of the best concerts I've been to in a while. Glad I didn't miss it. Could hardly believe how many mods live in munich. May be a life in Munich is possible, after all...thanks for the tip and coming along Rubber Duck.
