How to change a topic title

Whenever, I try to modify a new post, I am able to change only the content. But not the title itself.

Refering to (p)roots post, How can you modify it? Change the title

I know the title doesnt really mean, but looking for solutions, so that I can modify it later.

Hope the MODs dont do it for me

Eh? Normal posts within a topic do not have titles so nothing to change.

AFAIK you have to get the Mods to change a TOPIC title

Until certain time (3 hours I think) you can change the title as well.

in my experience the mods don't need to be asked to change a topic title they just do it anyway, hence my "Mods always change this bit on my threads" subtitle to a thread I did recently
