Yawn, here we go again. Welcome to Munich. Yes indeed there are. Have a looksee on the Events and Meetups page and you can pick and choose something that takes your fancy. If nothing there appeals then you can always post something of your own and invite people out. Have a read through the threads and you'll pick up tips on the best ways of posting events.´If I were you I wouldn't expect too many direct e-mails with offers of company (although you never know, although from a spam point of view you shouldn't put your e-mail on a forum anyway). You're much better off coming out to something that has already been organised, meeting a few people and taking it from there.

welcome ytla. theres lots of events - take a look at the calendar, pick an event and just show up. you're guaranteed to meet some nice people.


Well if you want to get snippy about it young un...true, true...but anyone wishing to avoid the bitter welcome only has to do as directed on registering...familiarize themselves with the layout of board for a while before posting - its highly likely someone could, in that fashion - wander across the calendar and the all powerful search function. Like me ma always told me, look with your eyes and not with your mouth - and all will be revealed.

Vytla, come to curry night and we could speak only in Indian languages just to piss some people off. We mostly speak only Indian and we need more Indians like you to take over Toytown.

But i would suggest curry nights as well as there are many indians but also ppl from all over the world in a lovely atmosphere and it's great to meet ppl over dinner rather going up to those groups that u'd sometimes have on the drinks night.
