Hans-Sachs gay street festival - Munich

What started off as a small celebration of the birthday of the Munich gay centre SUB has now turned into the absolute highlights of the social calendar, the Hans-Sachs Gay Strassenfest in one of the prettiest streets in central Munich

It's this Saturday, 20th August, so get yourselves out down to Glockenbachviertel!

There'll be a LOT of people, food and drink and a whole string of music and performers: Top of the bill are the ever popular Schwuplattlers with their Bavarian dances in Lederhosen.

Starts iirc at 3pm and goes on till 10 after which you can expect a MONSTER level of parties and events in all the local bars and clubs.

NB: For safety reasons, the entrance to Hans-Sachs Strasse from Müllerstrasse will be CLOSED.

but I'm not staying too long, got a birthday party that night, and remember getting totally wasted last year
