amazon.de is great if you want the new coldplay or something else, but I want something a bit more specific in the way of classical or jazz. Anyone got any recommendations for online music shops doing this kinda stuff?

Try JPC (Jazz, Pop, Classic)
I always use that one and I am very happy with it! Amazon doesn't stand a chance agasinst their choice and their offers and expecially the search function.

Not online, but in town, Ludwig Beck has a huge collection of jazz and classical music.
