Clubnight: Alex Smoke @ Die Registrateur

hey,

first time poster (be gentle) here, but have been in munich a wee while. looking for clubbing (& gigging) buddies & was hoping someone might be up for a bit of scottish techno (yes, that is a good thing ) next friday night. i'm fairly good company on a good day, have all my own teeth and am worth a laugh (at) when drunk. so, would some kind soul care to let me tag along for a bit of a dance?

I have also been looking for friends on TT to go clubbing with for awhile. I have been in Munich for a little over 1 month and usually go to goth/electronica nights all by my lonesome (goths think it is cool if you are alone and anti-social), etc. :]

I have never heard Scottish techno, but I like other kinds of techno, so it sounds fun. Where/when are you meeting?

Kids, this sounds like it could be rocking! Alex Smoke is on the one and only Soma Records, a Glasgow label that has been putting out quality stuff for at least 10 years now (curious fact: Soma was the label to first output Daft Punk before they hit it big).

Sounds like Mr Smoke is a bit all over the board with his music, and quite different from the usual Soma Detroit-styled techno, and more of an electro dude, which should keep it interesting.

I'm searchin' high and low how much this might cost (running on empty before next weeks' payday) - anyone have a clue how much it might be?

RocketGirl and SteamPunk (dig your two names btw!), are you guys def. heading out to this? I might just tag a long (with a visiting friend) if that's alright! Let me know if you have a meetup planned.

@eriiki tubbs cant find an info about the exact price too but entrance at the registratur is normally between 10 and 12 euros if my memory don’t go wrong, bottle of beer is 3,50 I guess, but the decent stuff from Bavaria in the normal bottles not the becks shit.
