Does anyone happen to know of any car clubs, specifically I am looking for Japanese imports, here in Germany... or for that matter.. when and where I might be able to find out information on car shows in Germany?

I have recently purchased a new car.. have done some mods to her and since my husband is deploying soon I want to keep myself busy showing the car. I appreciate any help you can offer!

Thanks!

I'm not into ricers but I am into Subarus. Your Legacy is sweet; seems like you've picked a quality upgrade package.

I still miss my '03 WRX sad.gif

Since we're talking cars, here's mine:

I realize it is a crap picture with the beam in the way but that's the best shot I have access to at the moment. It's much further along now but not quite done (not that it will ever be done).

What I've done to it:

new floors
new cowling (157 spot welds to drill out - EFFF!)
patched OEM doors
repaired OEM hood
all NOS molding
patched quarter panels
subframe connectors
integrated export brace & monte carlo bar
373hp & 340ft-lb 302 +0.030" (~5 liters) with Edelbrock Aluminum heads, intake, 750cfm carb
5 speed Tremec 3550 (same ratios as the stock Toploader but with a 0.68 overdrive)
9" read end with rear discs (unavailable on Mustangs until the 80's) and 3.7:1 final drive
100% new suspension, interior, paint, etc.

I've got more recent pics at home if anyone is interested.

Back on topic: there are shows around here but I always just stumble upon them. Keep an eye out for posters that say something about an auto or kfz or car "Treffen."

Did you look here?

Germans just aren't into ricers - Scooby is popular in the UK though so p'raps you should bring her over here for a weekend - I'd love to take it around the block once or twice... wink.gif

Thanks.. not really much to the body work though. Hopefully there will be more soon. I just need to find a parts shop here in Germany that can order parts direct from Japan. Any ideas?

I know Scoobys are popular in the UK.. smart people those Brits! wink.gif I am actually meeting up with some of ya'll at the SWRT get together in Trier for the Rally in a couple weeks.

If I can find some quality shops here in Germany to do a bit more cosmetic work on the car I may be showing at HIN next year. Maybe I will let you take her for a spin then. LOL

I would love to have a right hand drive RS.. hoping to get one of those before I go back to the states.

For those of you who are interested.. i found lots of information on shows. In fact I just went to one this weekend in Erfurt. Unfortunately for me there isn't a big market for Japanese parts around here though! sad.gif
