Okay, For two months now, my wife and I have been registered with ARGE in Würzburg as we were both layed off by a company that went insolvent.

Yesterday, I had an interview in Kaiserslautern by a company that wants me to work for them, but because of their policy doesn't give a contract untill I complete a 6 day grundkurs in September.

So, my wife and I went to ARGE explaining this, as they paid the travel cost for me to go to the interview, and asked what, if any, help they could give us in moving to K-town.

From 3 separate offices, we recieved 3 separate answers... blink.gif

When my wife had checked German laws online before us going there, we had found out that ARGE should help us.

ARGE stated that even though the company garantees a contract after the 6 day course, that they will not help us unless they see the contract.

This goes against everything we researched online, and afterwards we found online that ARGE reps can grant help based on what they feel is best for you, or, to be more blunt, based on how they feel on any particular day!

Can anyone think of anything that could help my family?
