Progressive house music scene in Munich

I was wondering what's the progressive house scene like here in Munich. I know there are clubs like Garden and Palais that bring occasionally DJs that spin PH. For example we've seen Deep Dish, Timo Maas and even Laurent Garnier visited the city this year. But are there some smaller places where PH is the main music line?

Not that I know of. Munich's music scene is pretty conservative.

Well yeah, I have a kind of same impression, but I was thinking that I will ask anyway coz there are lots of good German progressive artists. Besides I think there are many people like me who like PH and they would want to see more PH venues.

My brother's "in the scene", I've emailed to ask him if he has any info.

Just keep your eye on the posters around town: I've seen quite a few progressive house nights advertised and tech house stuff too. Tech house is better anyway Here is supposed to be tops, but it's a little bit away by train...

The good clubs in Munich are not necessarily seperated into what kind of music they play. Most of the good clubs play different types of music on different nights. There are some Prog. House nights but they are mainly events that happen at different venues at different times. Tech House, Funk House and Break Beat seem to be what's in at the moment.
Despite some people's reservations towards the "In München" magazine, it's a good place to start if you know what or who you are looking for. Another way is to join mailing lists at these events and to take as many flyers as you can from them. Many of the good clubs will hand you a package at the door which includes flyers for upcoming parties/events and at times a free CD.

In answer to the question, there isn't much progressive house in munich, but I can tell you that arguably one of the best progressive djs in the world...Sander Kleinenberg, is playing at welovemunichonsunday at the old pacha on sunday 21st of august!

So get on down there for your prog fix!!!

mogwai at buga finishes at 10 pm, I imagine that he'll be playing at some point between 7 and 9. Welove finishes at about 2 am if it is busy, so you should have time to get there and have a boogie afterwards!

This is going to be an all out balls to the wall, oh shit, I seem to have broken my handbreak and can't stop, day and night!
I'd agree and think Moguai will start around 8'ish. He played longer than two hours at The Garden a few weeks ago so it could be earlier.
Needless to say, put those bordies, flops and sunglasses on and get to "The Beach" earlier if the weather is good.
If it turns out to be like Greenfields it will be a fine day indeed.

ok, progressive house will not be in this rotation, but on our opening night, we have booked dj enne & elmar, former residents of the funky kitchen who are well known for their funky groovy house sets. it's on 03rd sept.!
