There is a much easier way to watch live British television.
It's exactly the same as watching it in England - I signed up months ago and it's been brill.
Try thetelly.net - they charge the same rate as I'd pay, well less actually, and it's really made me feel close to home.

This has to be an advertising scam. Who in their right mind (in Europe) pays almost €300 for setup, €200 for UK TV license, and €75 PER MONTH for basic Free-to-view TV channels in crap PC-based quality, when you can pay less than €150 for a satellite set-up that does the same (worst case another €100-150 for someone to point it in the right direction) and watch REAL TV on a REAL TV with no monthly charges?... On a continuous basis a full blown Sky service with all movies and sports , even in HD costs only a little more
