U2 concert - How many TTers will be there?

Well, as the title says, i was just interested how many TTers were lucky enough to get tickets for tonight

There have been a few adverts for Tickets on TT, so was also wondering how many people were prepared to pay over the odds for theirs.

The skinhead and I are going together.
When I bought the tickets, I had a deal running with the former Herr Indoors (a huge U2 fan) that we would both try and get tickets and whoever was successful would take the other.
Well I got the tickets at face value.
Then stopped being single.
But I'd promised the ticket to the former Herr Indoors so that was that.
Then on the day that I told the former Herr Indoors about the new chap, he said well, I'm very pleased for you. And why don't you take him to U2 instead - I've got 2 tickets too.
Which just shows what a decent bloke the former Herr Indoors is

ooh, forgot to say: i wouldn't mind knowing, out of curiosity, how much over the odds people were prepared to pay.

I bought 5 tickets off ebay a few months ago for 90€ each...bought another one off a TTer for 90€ though he paid 120€ for it I think.

Whats the "former herr" doing with his other ticket?

what were the face values of these tickets, moonboot?

Rus, he's taking his best mate who is coming all the way from Stuttgart for tonight only plus will be meeting another 2 pals there who have combined the concert with a family visit. They live in Taiwan. His pals are fanatical U2 fans as are my pals from work who are going (think one even got Dublin tickets as a wedding present!).
He's very decent with tickets - he got me my Bruce Springsteen acoustic tour one as well.

There seems to be plenty for sale on E-Bay!
I would probably get a couple if I had someon to go with but dont fancy it on my own.
Going price looks like 80-100 Euros

uh... guess i kinda misled the gang - guy here at work who did it - 26 euro each for two tickets , he bought one first for 77 and then saw the bargain and snapped it up but is trying to get rid of that now... apparently guy who sold the two bargains was German - anyway work friend says that if it rains he'll probably dump the ticket for what he paid for it... if it becomes available ill let you folks kno - although right now he's thinkin of floggin it outside the venue

Well I have zero effort, zero hassle. A work colleague told me on Monday he had 2 tickets, then today I agreed I would go with him. He bought the ticket anyway, so for me its FREE.

@ Owain Glyndwr - No there was a notice on our canteen board on Thursday, 2 tickets for 100 EUR, then on Monday 8am, the notice was gone.

This was the ticket I was explaining about last night. A work colleague just (for some weird reason) bought 2 tickets, and only he was going, so he offered me the ticket on Monday, and well it took me until last night to decide YES. So checked this morning, and he still had the single ticket ! So I'm going !

Katrina help!!! you surely know how to answer this...I heard a rumour that needs dispelling...that Keane will not be playing tonite but rather The Killers, a mate who works in the pub was told by a ticket selelr...it's surely not true is it??

The Killers good, but Keane GOOOOD! I love Keane and will be really disappointed if they aint playing, as will boyfie cuz he loves em too.

Someone sold tickets at dirt cheap prices as there was a fault with ebay.

1000 Tickets are going on sale at 3pm according to U2-Forum.de as the building of the stage differently to how planned means more places available.
Same forum says that inner circle passes just being chucked into the queing crowd, meaning those that have got there just now have same chance as though who have camped out.

after hearing it was sold out we were resigned to going to sit on the hill and listen for free, but after being there for an hour or so and being infected by the atmosphere, we decided that we HAD to get in...only prob was that there were 5 of us...so we though no chance, but then some friendly guy who has my eternal thanks, let us know that there were still regular tickets on sale at the gate...sold! So glad i went, even with the rain...am v. glad they released the extra tix
