Kids day camps in Munich south

Hi All, hope you might be able to help.

My son has no kindergaten for 3 weeks, but I still have to work one of those weeks, so I am urgently searching for a day camp kind of thing for him. I live in Thalkirchen, but it could also be out by Vaterstetten/Baldham/Haar or Holzkirchen direction even.

My son is 4 years old, totally bi-lingual, so it doesn't matter if it is English or German.

If you have any ideas, please post or PM me, I would be most grateful.

Good luck - my youngest kid's (4 years old) kindergarden is now closed for three weeks and I am juggling, my oldest kid (8 yrs) has day care (Hort), but it closes when the kindergarden reopens. So our summer time is screwed.

There are no summer camps for 4 years olds that I know of - most start at 6. I am lucky that my in-laws can watch the little one this week - but I have to be in the office again before his kindergarden reopens and haven't figured that one out yet.

The best bet is probably to get a Tagesmutter or a student to babysit. Too bad we don't live closer to each other (I live in Schwabing), we could have worked something out!

it is a pity, that you are so late with your request. We also do live in Thalkirchen and the kindergarden of our daughter (3 3/4 y) is closed too. So we have the same problem. We have arranged that our babysitter comes every morning till 12:30 pm to take care of our daughter and her brother (16 month). They go to a playground or to the zoo and do a lot of things. In the afternoon we take care of the kids ourselves. So if your son likes to join us the next two days he is wellcome. Next week however our daughter is going to participate in an English course (we are Germans). But we could give you the telephone number of our babysitter who ist really great.
