Car sharing - for travelling Munich to Poland

Hi,
I heard that, there is a car sharing facility in Munich, with people who are travelling to places like Poland/Hungary/Checz.. Does anyone of you know, about this??

A lot of car hire firms actually don't let you hire cars if you are going to eastern Europe, I do not know about any car sharing scheme !

If you are hiring a car and driving to Poland, etc you have to explain this, and sometimes you must take out further insurances.

Oh... highly recommend visiting Krakow, but give Warsaw a miss !

There are plenty of eastern europe car share rides happening each weekend on the street next to the BMW tower. Not sure of the name of the street, but you might swing by sometime and ask. You'll see the people lined up with their cars/vans, etc.
