Jazz bars in Munich

There was a great discussion on jazz bar recommendations here in Munich and I can't seem to find it in my search. Does anyone have any recommendations? Or easier yet can someone find the thread?

I've been to Jazz Club Unterfahrt. They had a some good live jazz at a pretty cool bar. It's right at the Max Weber Platz U-bahn stop.

Haven't been to any Jazz clubs here but would be interested in suggestions as well.

Hideout is a great place for blues but I've heard it will be shut down and possibly moving soon.

I definitely recommend Jazzbar Vogler.

Small and intimate but good live jazz music.

Yeah, I agree with Keydeck - Jazzbar Vogler is good. Nice atmosphere and Mondays they have a jam session. Live music nearly every night I think. In the back of my mind to organise a TT night out there sometime.

I've heard they have live jazz music at the Waldwirtschaft biergarten down in Solln. I went by there just as they were closing up, but it looked like it had some potential.

They do but for me it wouldn't be my favourite. It's more of that Dixieland New Orleans vibe.

and realized how much I miss the sound of jazz in Munich... WOuld love to go tomorrow evening, Thursday, listen something live, and smooth...
Any recommendations?

I'm by no neans a jazz junkie, but I have been to a few things in the past at the Jazzclub Unterfahrt at Max Weber platz (just up from Unions Brau) and really enjoyed them. I believe it's an old underground railway station. The only thing detracting was that it was a little pricey.

Jazzbar Vogler is a very good spot.
