Let's hope the band's lawyers don't see your post!

jesus, what a palaver! I think you'd have to be pretty dumb not to realise it is a tribute band!
still going of course...unless the barstaff have been arrested for breach of copyright laws.

I've heard that The Seven Towers are even better than the real thing.

Hey Twirlie.. you're so right.. one U2 unleashed on this planet is enough!! Who need a tribute band when the real thing are Masters of Recycling!

Went to this show on Friday night. Wasn't very good actually and I was pretty disappointed. Crappy sound quality, poor mix of the instruments, singer forgot the lyrics to 'in a lttle while', and none of them actually really looked anything like the band. Considering there was a 1980's styled bandana wearing edge and 90's 'fly' like bono things just didnt seem to fit. Was a pretty confused set up.
Would also say poor choice of set list as well...(never start a U2 gig with 'streets')
I've seen a few U2 cover bands at home, one of them was so good that if you shut your eyes you'd have thought it was the real U2 on stage. Unfortunately not the case on friday night!!

I agree sound was crap. I have heard Seven Towers before and the sound was fine but sadly not the case on Friday. Good night though.
