The city center bar formerly known as
Bondi is now called Starlet.
They tag themselves as a "Bar - Lounge - Restaurant - Café" (hedging their bets).
Starlet is open daily 5pm to 5am. Every Tuesday is Karaoke at 8pm.
They also have live music. Last night "Highway Sound Explosion" were playing. They're a Munich duo who do country, rock, and pop music from the 60's and 70's. Below is the image from their flyer...

They also have an "all you can eat" buffet for lunch for 5,90 €. Strange mix of mexican, indian and chinese.

went to check the place out on the night the above band played and seems to be more desperate for business then the bondi, was 3 people in the place when our group of 6 walked in only to leave because the music was shocking sounded and loud. The atmosphere non existent or rather drowned out by the noise. then the barman follows us to the ubahn steps pleading that he will turn the music right down, or what else could he do for us to stay.
Was there last weekend. Not many people either. So if you are on a private date, a good place I would say!
There were a lot more folks when it was Bondi.

We went for lunch last week & some of the buffet food was pretty good & some of it was "interesting". Everyone found something they liked though. They actually had sushi as well but that was definitely not the highlight.
How about arranging Tuesday drinks here one week?

From the glance in the window that I had, it looks almost the same except slightly more café-like.

Yeah I walked in and out one lunchtime earlier this week. The bar is in the same place etc. Just nobody there except one waitress. Somehow Burger King held more appeal
Well,
we could go there and give "our" valid suggestions to make it successfull as well
