3D photo made of bubbles inside a plastic block

Where is this Munich souvenir store?

Hi! Hope you can help me. My son just returned home after 3 weeks in Germany with his high school German club. Had a great time by the way and loved Germany. Anyway, he came home with the coolest souvenir I've seen and I was hoping you all could help me locate where he bought it. Of course being a teenager, he has no clue. It was a plastic block attached to a key chain, but he said most of the things in the store were bigger, like paperweights I think. It was clear plastic block and inside they had created a 3-d image of him using, i believe, bubbles. He apparently posed for a picture and they somehow converted that to this 3-d image inside the plastic. All he knows is that he was in like an underground mall, little tiny store, in Munich.

Does anyone know about this? Do you have the name of the store, or maybe the name of the process so I can search on the internet? I have never seen anything like it.

Thanks for your help

Bye!!!

It´s not clear if you are after a place in Munich where you can get the 3D Laser Crystals done or in the U.S. According to your profile your nearest city is Chicago, if this is the case then check out Crystalix USA and the 'All Locations' link on that page. Otherwise I think these people may be able to help with a location in Munich: 3d-crystal.de
