Hi all!
I have to open a bank account here in Germany, but I don't know where I can find the cheapest conditions, hence not to have much money lost for taxes and so on!
Anyone of you can help me??
Thanks in advance and best regards,
Pietro

Citibank does not charge you each month if you are in the black by the end of the month. there are not many branches in Munich but they have a 'cash pool' so there are many other banks that you can use the ATMs for free with.

great Internet/phone banking and all the branches I've been in have had English speaking staff (they're quite international)

hmm...at Sendlinger Tor there's a Noris Bank and a CC Bank...Sparda's are all around...there's a few SEBs around too one of which is by Hbf.

there's a little booklet you can get at Citibank which tells you where all the Cash Pool banks are...it's quite good.
