and I'd recommend them highly too.

Moved me with a minimum of fuss in only a few hours and then Mike came back to build furniture a couple of days later.

Charming, efficient and very professional.

This is the third time I have used them and they have been great each time.

Hello,
I should have done this about 8 months ago...better late than never.
Had my apartment painted with them when i was moving out. Great job and no complaints from the landlord. Besides, they also fixed minor issues with the shower stand and door and did not bother to charge anything.

Would definitely recommend them.

We just used Mike and lee for moving our stuff from Giesing to Harlaching .. I should say they were the best and helped us as much as they could .. Very friendly , reliable , helpful .. We had a very tight deadline to move and approached them as our only resort and they didn't disappoint us at all . They accommodated us in between their tight schedule , Helped us move our massive couch , bed , some zillion cartons full of heavy stuff :-) .. ..We had to move flats where there were no lifts and it was very uncomfortable in this very hot climate .. They just made it look so easy .. If it was not for them we would have been in a big soup .. We would HIGHLY recommend them .We are soon planning to call them to complete some handy jobs around our new house :-)..

Thanks to Mike and Lee :-)..

As Huntcrest didn't want my money and after waiting for over three weeks for someone to come, I got in touch with Benchmark as an alternative. Benchmark came round the very next day, had a look at what needed to be done, gave me a very fair quote and then came back the following morning to do the job. Very pleased with what they've done and can only recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, friendly and professional service. smile.gif

sorry angry obelix from munchen, probably my fault as they have been renovating my property for me over the last month.
and i must admit i put them under a great deal of pressure to finsh on time as we were waiting to move in.
i found them very easy to work with as they always seemed so happy.laughing and singing(especialy mike, who realy should take some lessons !)
i think i had all of the common wealth working there at some stage.english, welsh, irish, australien(these were the accents i understood !)
the work was to a very high standard, despite me changing my mind about what i wanted many times.
there was nothing they seemed not able to do be it electrical, plumbing, carpentry, floors, painting,or even knocking walls down.
i would highly recomend them to anyone, but as anyother quality firm i know they get booked out very quickly.
this is only the first phase of the renovations,so i will be booking them again soon(sorry everyone)

so once again,sorry obelix(but i got there first !)

No probs...it was the lack of replies to my emails that caused me to go elsewhere. wink.gif

I can only add to the recommendations for Huntcrest. We moved into our house in June, and between June-August they did a mountain of work for us.

They ripped up carpets and putting down both laminate and wooden flooring (parkett), as well as plenty of painting. They also put up plasterboard in the attic, plastering and painting it afterwards to a very high standard. They wired in electrical sockets and light connections, meaning we now have a wonderful big airy room in the attic, instead of a dark storage dump.

But the highlight for us was how they repainted all the kitchen cabinets and doors - the old kitchen had been left, but was far too dark and old-fashioned. We didn't want to get a new kitchen for at least a few years, so they sanded and spray-painted all the doors. Everyone is amazed at how well it turned out, you would think it was done professionally in a factory setting.

A few weeks after the work was done I noticed a slight buckling in the wooden floor in one spot, and after mentioning it to Mike he immediately said he'll come over and take up the skirting board to sort it out. So after-care service is also very impressive.

We certainly kept them busy with all the jobs, so apologies if you had difficulty in booking them over the summer! I know they had a lot of work, but we were happy for them to fit us in when they could and they finished all the work earlier than we expected. They work hard, are a great laugh and provide musical entertainment as they work. It would have taken us a year to do ourselves what they did in a few weeks. For us it was well worth the money, saving so much stress and headaches and above all time. We'd have no hesitation recommending them.

EDIT: Obelisk, I know that both Mike and Lee were abroad over the past 2 weeks busy doing a job, that's probably why they didn't reply to your email in that time. Normally they are very quick in responding, and are happy to call over in the evenings to discuss a job and give a quote. BTW we're not on commision, just happy customers!

Chapeau again to Huntcrest building, Mike alone was able to put together the mess of both my giant bed and wardrobe. No problems with missing pieces and illogical directions!

Hi All.

I am not impressed with Huntcrest. I got two offers for my move today. I am not moving much as the place I live now is part furnished and the wardrobe and bed will be delivered. The two offers are so far apart that they will need the tram to reach each other. From huntcrest I got a quote of 400 euro + 180 for the parking and documents. So a total of 580 euro. To that it took reminders to get them to get back to me. It really did not give me a feeling that they are to be trusted.

On the other hand I contacted Daul after reading that other people had used them and had been very happy. I could fill in the list of what I had to move online and within a few hours they sent me a very different offer. 287 euro inc VAT. They also sent along the insurence docs etc.

I didnt have to think long about who I am going to use...
