Why do you put a "

" after the announcement that it's not in the Bondi Bar?

Well some people have a negative opinion of Bondi because it doesnt have Hellas there. Its still a good bar though.

I dont think it really matters? The last one at the Hoftbrau place seemed to go off well and I think the changing of venues every now and again has been a good thing.
One thing though, the Stammtisch is every 2 weeks, which will make the next one Valentines Day, so I am pretty sure that a lot of people will be off doing something with their wives/boyfriends/girlfriends? So do you think it will be a good idea to delay it for a week?

On another note, I doubt I will be going to the stammtisch now until it starts up again in the Augustiner biergarden. I preferred it there, plus its also a stones throw away from nachtgalerie.

Stay at Bondi. Hofbräuhaus was a bit old fashioned and static.
An yes, the waitress was old and too slooooow.
@ 3lions:What about those lonely singles that won't to be entertained by a boy-/girlfriend that night?

@Lions Sorry to hear that
well lots of people have something going on every Saturday and as Karen says not everyone is hitched. The good thing about Bondi is that the service is good and if you want to go downstairs and dance or whatever you can.

Regarding Valentine's Day, How about a Lonely Heart's Club Stamtisch? Where I grew up a local radio station threw a lonely hearts club ball every year on Valentine's day. It evolved into a pretty big event with 1,000+ lonely hearts. Who wants to sit at home alone on the eve of romance? get out there and troll for strange.

Valentines Day is also the start of the 6 nations. Sod sitting at home, come down to Gunthers first to watch 2 games of rugby, drink lots of beer and then head out

Cheers
