Better even that out with a congregation of Christians...
What the hell, a cluck of Christians or an irritation of Bible bashers, a mutiny of Muslims, a babble of Buddhists, a heave of Hindus, a heap of heathens, a chuckle of Chinese Universists, a confusion of Confucianists, a shanty of Shintoists, a jungle of Jews, a soup of Sikhs, a tangle of Taoists and a zoo of Zoroastrians. Oh, and an agony of Atheists.

Thread reminds me of the kids in school...teacher elicits what collective nouns they already know.
"Please, Miss, a flock of sheep!"
"Very good, Wendy!"
"Miss, Miss, a herd of cows!"
"Good, Johnny."
"I know one Miss, I know one...a shoal of fish!"
"That's right, Bob."
"Please Miss - a school of whales!"
"Excellent, Zoe...anyone else know a collective noun for fish?"
"Yes Miss, a dose..."
"I'm sorry Bill, I don't know that one..."
"Oh, Miss, haven't you ever heard of a dose of crabs?"

Actually, I think you'll find it's a school of Dolphins. Fish, as the previous poster wrote come in shoals.

A "shoal" describes any random group of fish whether the same species or mixed. A "school" generally refers to the same species swimming synchronised. "School" as a verb refers to this synchronised behaviour and depending on the species, as few as three will do it.
