Married, dating, or single

Just curious as to how many TTers are single, married, and otherwise. No particualr point to this poll other than my own curiousity.

I divorced so long ago (10 years), that people say I should just call myself single.

What do you think?

@ AIE - I'm in the same boat. Divorced but in a long term relatioship now (engaged actually) so unsure where I really fit in. Widow(er)s could have the same problem. And apparently I've left out those folks who cheat on their spouses; they definitely need a category to themselves (guess I should have planned better). oh well.

you also forgot..."in a long term relationship but worrying that the partner is having an affair and lying about it so that they don't have to face up to the fact that you might have to split up because of their cheating"...just a thought

Are relationships really so clear cut these days? How do you define boyfriend-girlfriend been together for five years not living together compared to boyfriend-girlfriend met two months ago and living together, engaged (do people still do that?) and living together or not. Still married and living separately in the same apartment etc. etc. etc.??? Seem to me the possibilities are endless. Or what about married and the other half is in another place?

Yes Nicky, people still get engaged. I can name you at least 7 people on this board who are in that state right now. No, wait, 6. One got married last Saturday. Aloha Chris!
