The "String Cheese Incident" play Munich

Hi everyone,
Tickets go on sale tomorrow, Jan. 20th, for the String Cheese Incident concert that will be in Munich on March 23rd!
I don't know how much the tickets will cost, but it probably isn't as outrageous as most concerts because the band is independent and does its own ticketing. Check out their very cool website at: www.stringcheeseincident.com

Although I've never been to any of their concerts, my friend back home who is really into going to independent bands' concerts told me that they are great in concert! So make sure you get the tickets soon, before all of the out of town groupies snag the rest of them!

To check out their music, go to the link "the band" and you can listen to some mp3s. I would classify their music as rock, but I can't be any more specific to genre, since I am not a big music buff like some.

They are also offering an "International Incident" trip that will be in Interlaken, Switzerland. As it says on their website: "This year's International Incident dubbed the Swiss Cheese Incident combines 4 days of skiing in the magnificent Jungfrau region of Switzerland with 2 incredible shows." Sounds very cool. Although I won't be doing that.

If you enjoy the music of the Allman Brothers, Widespread Panic, Bela Fleck, Leftover Salmon; I think you will also enjoy String Cheese. Should be a great show.

OH MY GOD!!! FUCK YES!!! SCI FUCKING RULES!!! I can't fucking believe I've been trying to see them for YEARS in Texas and now they are coming to Munich!!!

Just so you know, you can buy the tickets for the String Cheese Incident concert at the Zentraler Karten Vorverkauf (central ticket presale) at the S/U Bahn offices at Marienplatz (UG) or Stachus (2.UG). The tickets cost 23,40 € including service fee. It's cheaper than buying them online from String Cheese Incident's website and having them mailed to Germany and a lot faster too. They still had tickets as of yesterday. Don't know if the show will sell out, since not many Europeans have heard of the band, so you might be able to buy the tickets the night of the concert, but if you want to go, then I would just buy them in advance.

I will be going with a group of 6 people. It should be a great time!
