Sarah Kuttner TV show

For three years now, I've occasionally turned the channels and ended up on the Sarah Kuttner show (or whatever the official title is). It's been driving me nuts that I recognize the show's theme song, but for ages I couldn't recall where I'd heard it before. Well tonight I realized that the tune is the theme song for the show "Who's line is it Anyway?"

So, what's the deal? Did her show rip it off? Has she been around for ages and they ripped it off from her? Is it a tune older than both shows? If so, where did it originate?

I cant help you out on that IPJ but it really doesnt matter for that girl is CUTE. One thing though. My girlfriend says she from the former east german area and that east germans always do what they want...dont know if that statement is true though.

Whose Line is it Anyway, the one with Clive Anderson, Greg Proops et al? This show (the UK version) is almost certainly older than the Viva channel itself. Sarah Kuttner Die Show has been around a year or two at the max and there is barely anything original about it (although I do like Sarah herself ).

her show has only been around since last summer so they must have bought the rights to the choon ..could however have ripped it off but a friend of mine works as a producer at RTL and I talked to him once about the way royalties work in tv.. all seems pretty tight and systematic, apart from stuff that's out in the public domain

Yeah, the one with Clive Anderson (I know they redid it later with that Drew Carey dude, but I've never seen it with him). I know Whose Line is it Anyway is quite old, since I can specifically remember watching a marathon of it at least 10 years ago, but I have no idea about the Kuttner chick's show.
