Hi everyone!

Have never done anything daring before and would really like to try. Is there anything you can recommend and where would I be able to do this?

Cheers! biggrin.gif

is it expensive?

the only thing I've done so far is gliding and that's not very extreme... so anything is welcome!

What about buying yourself a freeride/downhill mountainbike and hitting the bike parks for some 10 metre high jumps etc...dangerous as hell, but loads of fun

The extreme ironing world champs were held in Munich a couple of years back. See the ancient post on TT: Extreme Ironing

Not necessarily a sport, but an extreme leisure activity is swiming in the eiskanal in Augsburg. This canal is built for white water rafting and canoeing. Swiming in it is more fun though. I was actually thinking of suggesting a small TT trip one Sunday. Maybe I still will. July or August are the only months it's warm enough.
More tea, Vicar?
See my waterskiing thread. Its "extremely" hard on the arms but loads of fun. Hired a car and went yesterday. Brilliant, and quite uncrowded - even on a busy beautiful Sunday.

watch this... but when you die, it wasn't my fault. I have never really wanted to go skydiving, but this looks kick ass.

You can also surf in the Englischer Garten:

Otherwise, I'd say to try riding a bike at a BMW owner's club meeting. You'll be dodging cars for your life as they all try to make their 325i's look cool by driving really fast in a driveway and almost hitting pedestrieans on their way out. That has got to be extreme... (no... wait, that's actually my daily ride... so not all that extreme I guess)

Maybe try riding the Kuh-bahn and sit in the seats marked for old ladies. boy can they hit hard!

Ooo... go to the Isar, and walk on hot coals! They are everywhere in the late afternoons/evenings. Just try not to step on the people's food, they get really mad.

Rafting in the Karlsplatz fountain is always a good day of extremeness. Just don't loose your padle... even if they try to take it away from you as they put the handcuffs on.

I guess some of these should be in the tread "How to piss of the locals" tongue.gif
Izabella
lots of plus karma from you on that one

the Isar surfing is definitely extreme... some poor kid died last year when he hit his head on the concrete sidewall sad.gif

@stilettos - If you have a car and ever feel like going rock climbing, my hubby and I can provide the gear and teach you. smile.gif

Does that mean you go paragliding wearing leather harnesses with spikes and beat each other with whips and paddles on the way down??? Sounds extreme to me!! LOL

Extreme stenciling is where its at. I like using colored hairspray on dogs.

that is, if and when I can get them to stand still long enough.
