Hey, any of you guys know where I can find a hobby shop in Munich? I'm looking for a store with plastic models, radio controlled models, that sorta stuff.

Most of the big department stores have this stuff in their toy section, or there is that big one on SonnenStr, just past Kaufhof towards sendinglor tor

Hiya
there is also a huge department in the basement of that big toy store at Karlsplatz/Stacchus next to Hugendubel.

There's a modelling & RC car section on the upper floor of Conrad in Tal.
Karen
Try Obletter. They're located in OEZ or at Stachus.
DrivinWest
Awesome - thanks everybody.

I think Katrina and Karen are talking about the same store...
Katrina

Yeah but I don't go into the one at Stacchus anymore. They have a slide going down into the basement section and they get annoyed if adults try to use it. S'just not fair sad.gif
Jimbo
Is that what you were doing on those escalators over there then? No wonder they don't let you on - all that blood upsets the children.
Katrina
Same as in Konen, they have a slide too but adults are banned sad.gif
Obletter is good for Hello Kitty stuff though (for my sister who is a bit more girly than me).
Keydeck
Yeah Jim, it's a whole sliding down things fetish tongue.gif

Same as they bloody EU. There they were with a whole damn butter mountain and nobody was allowed slide down that either!

theres a model shop nr where I work. Its on the corner of Wotanstrasse and Kemnatenstrasse. (between laim sbahn and romanplatz)

Its only a 10 min walk from Laim sbahn - go underneath the tunnel, away from the roundabout, and walk up that road for 10 mins and shop is on your left. or you can get the 41 bus - richtung olympiazentrum - for 2 stops and it drops you off oposite the model shop.

Bex et al,

Great info. I'm feeling my geek/geezer cravings piling up. Must be all the rainy days...
