This is what I don't understand. If someone gave me -ve karma, then shouldn't it show up on the bottom of the -ve karma list, since the lowest currently on it is -2/2? Or does it only show up if you've received more that one rating for that post?

EDIT maybe you're talking about the karma per post? which I've just seen

@ipj I assume its primarily ranked on karma balance for the post, and then sub ranked within that karma amount by the total votes. So I think theres one of mine there with a karma of 0, but theres 6 votes involved, obviously 3 positive and 3 negative. (Actually with a karma of 0 it shouldnt be in the list, so its a bad example)

But a post with 4 positive and 3 negative would appear above a post with 3 positive and 2 negative even though both have a balance of 1 because the former has more total votes.

Thats just a guess, it would be good to see the code.

Nah, I wouldn't -ve you for that. There's no point in that. Besides, I've only given out 3 in the last couple days (if I remember correctly).

Hey, I am a person too. Just cause I have +100 karma and -105 karma doesn't make me less of an influence.

Of course, I am only guessing now that I can't see how many +/- points I actually have. The last time I checked (last week I think), I had over 100 votes total. I am proud to have had so many votes and like they say in Hollywood "No press is worse than negative press!".

...would be an even more interesting stat, methinks, to know who GIVES the most positive vs. negative Karma. IRK (In Real Karma), my guess is that's the stat that counts.

IMO, all we need is Rating by Member that includes everybody like it was on the first day. keep it simple I say.

I don't know but clearly it is not Equal Opportunity Karma anymore It is strange that some can give only +1 but it takes only one person to take you down by -5 for one post.

I think theres a problem with the karma buttons, I just tried to negative karma something, and the dialog box said "positive karma given" and then if you look at what posts have gotten positive karma today, it isnt posts one would expect.

Hey I was not part of this game for a few days and saw few changes...

1. When I left, I was at no. 3, now am at 147... I don't how but all my positive karmas are equalled by negative karmas...

2. One can opt out. But I want to know, if I opt out, can there be a possibility to rejoin the same? If yes, then what will happen to existing ratings? If no, there should be option available for the same.

Whatcha mean? You opt out on your current stats and then rejoin when it puts you at a better position. I've been looking at the ratings and my Karma goes up and down more often than XXXXXXX's pants. Does it really bother you that much?

I am running on a my best rating ever, which is odd, because I have a deal with a TT-er currently online. We always -ve each other.

For some reason I cannot give out Karma either -ve or +ve. I just have to sit back and take it, cannot give it out

Maybe you have so much bad karma that you need to be a better TT before they give you the ability to Karma your fellow TTs.

I don't know what this complicated sytem is and frankly I don't care anymore. Recently everytime I want to give a genuine -ve to what I think is a bad post, it is giving me -ve cuz it says it is tactical. Totally unfair. Yeah in the beginning I played the game with others for fun but I don't do that anymore. Now it is always giving me -ve so whatever, I don't care.
