Children seeking playmates - central Munich

Hi, I'm another new Mom in Munich and my children would love to hook up with kids their same age. I have 2 boys 8 and 5 and a girl age 1. I live in the Glockenbachviertel area, but would be willing to travel...especially if it means adult interaction for me as well!!! Thanks.

EDIT: I own my own home. Sandbox, wadding pool and playhouse in the garden. Very nice terrasse and a playground is across the street.

My son just turned 3 and could use some playmates. His only two friends moved away in April. He just started German kindergarten so he hasn't made any new friends yet. I live in Glockenbachviertel near several nice playgrounds.

Is Glockenbachviertel the same as Glockenbach, near the playground where Glockenbachfest was held? We've just moved there from America for a three-month stay with our 15-month-old son and would appreciate the company of other English-speaking moms and children. I guess we're also eligible for the moms-to-be thread, because I'm 4+ months along with our second baby as well. I'm a freelancer so my hours are flexible -- we tend to spend most of our days bumbling around aimlessly with the stroller, looking in vain for baby swings and trying to figure out of "Oko-logische" is a synonym for "organic." Would love to find a playgroup (or even one other mom/baby duo) we could hang out with on occasion.

Yes. The German word (in this case suffix) 'Viertel' means neighbourhood.
So Glockenbach neighbourhood.
Or if you want a literal translation of everything ; Bells stream neighbourhood.

I have two girls that I take care of who could use some english playmates. The girls are 1 and 3, speak English, German, Bayrisch and sign language. (Makes you sick doesn´t it) They are sweet girls and I am willing to travel with them, so long as it doesn´t require transferring trains too often.

We also have a large backyard with playhouses, swing (yes infant swing), and swimming pool (very cold).

I am here in Munich with my 7 year old son for 2 weeks, staying with my husband who works here. We are in Schwabing. I would love to meet up with any of you that have boys of a similar age as I don't want him to get bored here. He is into the usual Yu Gi Oh, playstation, football ect.

we are living in glockenbachviertel. we do not have any english playgroups or kindergarden near by.
our boys are 3 and 6 years old. they should have more practice with other kids in their second language (english).
my husband is american, and he is working during the week so he has not that much time to teach the kids his motherlanguage.
it would be nice to get some mails and new contacts.
