Weekend climbing partners

Seeking a climbing partner in Munich (some experience preferred).
I usually go to Thalkirchen climbing wall Fri/Sat/Sun, and also think of possible mountain / rock climbing, but not much (lack of time due to my job). For those who don't know , the Thalkirchen center is a great place to practice.

There are quite a few english speakers, including myself, who climb regularly at KZ in thalkirchen on Tuesday nights and outdoors on weekends. Send me a PM or drop by tuesday night to meet up with us. I'm only climbing indoors between friday-sunday if the weather is bad or working too hard to get outside. Hope to see you out!

I'm new in Munich and wanted to try the gym this Tuesday. Do you guys meet at certain location?

I usually can't get to Thalkirchen, as it's too far away and too expensive for me (student), however if there's anyone with a car interested in making some weekend trips, I can provide gear (full rack, including cams, nuts, etc.) and a 60m rope...and if you don't need the gear, can I get a lift?(!)

My flatmate and I are keen to get back into climbing, I did a introductory course in Brussels and climbed for a while there.

We don't have gear, where would be buy some cheap shoes and belts and other bits and bobs?

Send us any useful ifnormation/links/whatever you have and we'll be climbing.

As for good gear at cheap prices I highly recommend Mountain Equipment Co-op in Canada In Munich, Schuster at Marienplatz and Karstadt Sport (Theresienwiese location) have a good selection at ok prices.

We don't normally meet at a specific location as people arrive at KZ at slightly different times, typically between 7 and 8pm. I would suggest that you wander around the gym until you hear native english speakers and then introduce yourself. If the weather is nice, we are normally climbing on the outside of the halle.

Any of you guys go down last night?

Couldn't make it last for various reasons. Will definitely be there tomorrow night. Any takers?
