Has anyone tried
Vapiano yet?
It was recommended by someone. Just wondering if anyone else has eaten there and what the opinion is?
Menu and prices look good. But not sure about food quality. It is self-service.

Wanted to try it, but the look of the people in there kinda put me off. I might go there some day when I dressed myself up properly posh.

Is this the self service one or something? They had some gimmick... anyway, my boyfriend went with a friend the other day and they said it was great value - ie. the food was fine and it was cheap!!

I work around the corner and I refuse to go there. A posh self-service... that's a paradox already... my bet is that this restaurant actually is a joint-venture with the Hypo-Bank, in order to give their employees some hope... food-wise. Besides that my polish colleague goes there all the time to pick up guys (at least she is trying to). Her standards of taste are beyond the acceptable, and she highly recommends this place ('it's so cheap!!!'), so there you go.
Nuff said.

just been there for lunch and thought it was great. Pasta, Pizza, Salad for 5-8€ really good. Something for a lovely quick lunch. The food quality is really good too. It's self service and reminds me a bit of wagamama. They have a fantastic roof terrace which is so nice and relaxed to sit there. Of course you get lots of business ppl there during lunch time but it is definitely not as posh as the Armani cafe next door, more like the Thai restaurant on the lower floor.
It defiitely has become my favourite lunch place on a sunny day.

Went there yesterday night for a pizza and thought it was ok. For the price, it was definitely good value. Though the "tomatoes" on the pizza turned out to be two halves of one tiny li'l cherry tomato, which I'd consider a little stingy (onions and mozzarella were more plentiful, though).
They have this little "beeper" that is supposed to make a sound when the pizza is ready, and you're asked to come and pick it up. Unfortunately, it does not work on the terrace, so in case you decide to sit there, don't be surprised if it never beeps and your pizza gets cold on the counter.

I've been there for desert and drinks on a friday evening, and it was pretty cool. It's not really self-service. it's more like open concept. Everything is made in front of you, and charged to a card, which you then pay when you leave. The atmosphere is not so bad, and great for people-watching.

I went there last night just for a few drinks and think the place has a great atmosphere, it's pretty loud but that's because of the way it's built (gallery) but it's huge and the furniture gives it a chilled look.
I wouldn't recommend it for meeting people...unless they decide to install telephones at each table!
