I had no problems getting the application, but the three or four times now that I've tried to do the install/download bit it has died on about block 15/16. Very annoying! I think it's to do with dropping the GSM / GDSM link, as the little network icon dissappears first. Is there any way to get the installation downloads (rather than the .jar) via a PC and bluetoothing them over to the phone?

My Nokia 6230i works perfectly, for both the previous version and the new one...

Did some research. All Nokias have an upload limit of 64KB, except:
The 3125 has a limit of 146KB.
The 3220 has a limit of 128KB.
The 5140 has a limit of 128KB.
The 6170 has a limit of 128KB.
The 6230 has a limit of 128KB.
The 6255 has a limit of 800KB.
The 6651 has a limit of 300KB.
The 7600 has a limit of 348KB.
Where's the logic?

For those who need it, the download files for the new
MVV timetable on your mobile phone are:
English version (website
link)
http://mnavi.de/emvvschiene.jadGerman version (website
link)
http://mnavi.de/gmvvschiene.jadYou just need to access the above URL's via your phone's browser and then follow any instructions.

Technically Challenged here.
Is there any cost to use this after the .49 installation or is the use all offline?

FF no, it is a one-time charge. But you also have to pay for whatever your provider charges you for accessing the download via GPRS. After that the timetable will be saved to your phone and you can access it without using the internet.
Is there any way I can put this on my phone via the computer? I have a USB cable to hook up my cellphone (a Nokia E65) to the computer, could I install it that way? Does anyone know?
'New' mobile timetable option on MVV (i.e. no need to connect to mobile internet via GPRS/UMTS).

We offer you the possibility to transfer the MVV Mobile Timetable to your mobile via Bluetooth, data cable or infrared.
It is necessary of course that your computer and your mobile is eqipped for the data transfer.
Currently the data transfer of our application is not yet possible for any model!
At present the mobiles of the manufacturers LG, Alcatel and Samsung do not support this functions.
Nokia, Siemens, Motorola and Sony Ericsson mobiles meet these requirements. You can install the MVV Mobile Timetable with the software supplied by the manufacturer of your mobile (e.g. › PC-Suite from Nokia).

Has anybody had any success getting this to work on a Blackberry?
I got the latest and greatest installed but it would not run.

Me too. I find the U-Bahn and S-Bahn timetables to be quite useless because U-Bahn runs every 10 minutes until midnight anyway, and the S-Bahn on the Stammstrecke runs even more often even in the late evenings.
But the timetables of the trams and buses would be really useful, as they start to run every 20 minutes only around 8pm...
