Fresh mutton

Is it possible to buy fresh mutton (goat meat) in Munich. Lamb is good, but nothing beats mutton for indian dishes.

I thought mutton was sheep not goat oder? What do I know...anyhoo, you could try one of the butchers on this thread. Looks like Kafer is the best bet for quality.

jml's right. Mutton is sheep's meat (older than lamb). Along with the previous recommendations, there are the halal shops near the Bahnhof (Schillerstraße, Senefelderstraße) and some of the butchers around Viktualienmarkt.
