Most of what is posted on the forum these days is complete shit and the number of trolls on this site is far too high.

Tanning salons should be banned and all that use them are setting a bad example, especially to children.
Horse racing is great.

Expensive bicycles are a waste of money. All bikes have two wheels and have to be pedalled, so does it really make a difference if yours is made out of NASA grade titanium.

if you're cycling round starnbergersee, for instance, then it is definitely worth investing in a bike with good gears and decent suspension (and a helmet)

4. We are working far too long nowadays. In the last 30 years, there have been huge advances in Computer, communication, etc technology which means that office workers are able to work far more efficiently than 50 or 60 years ago, yet work the same hours. If we are using all these time saving devices, then what's happened to all the extra time? Salaries have also not increased on relative scale. Surely it takes only a day to do the same amount of work that took a week previously. Obviously, each person working in an office is creating far more output than ever before in the past. Big Companies and businesses must have a lot more money through this increase, but are continually sacking and reducing staff numbers, crying poor. We're all suckers and are falling for it, while the execs are laughing all the way to the bank.

i think people are afraid to have serious debate and risk unpopular yet well though out posts on forums with karma buttons and the like. Boards that have them soon become boring places. I hope this doesn't happen on this board, so soon after i stopped lurking and signed up.

I think it's a bit sad to create an alternate username and go to all the effort of attempting to make it look convincing just because you don't like the other users giving you negative karma on your main account.
