@Eurovol. somehow I think you could have an all star lineup, and still loose (I do).

I was looking for a QB, an RB and a D.
Hazzaman, The Lefties were favored in our last two matches,
let's see how we fare as underdogs? We are going to kick your buts into next week.

From what I can see, the Lefties are favo(u)red now over Hazzbolah. Should be an interesting matchup regardless of whos favo(u)red.
For this weekend, I'm just hoping LJ has another bad game aganist MINN.
Check again Canuck. Hazza is up by
one point. LJ wants over 40 carries, and he will get them.

Sep 21 2007, 5:04 pm
Herm Edwards is determined not to allow LJ 400 carries like he did the previous years. Aber when your line is as bad at that one you get desperate. Although I do not know about that Viking game, I mean Minn has probably one of the best run defense in my opinion.
LJ's problem is that he held out. He is hungry now and able.

I was also thinking of maybe we can call an owners meeting next week on line. Say about 9 in the evening your time so i can be able to be in on pseudo live chart with you guys. We could discuss business or trades and make it easier since we are all online at the same time. Just an idea.
Has there been one trade yet? I haven't seen one. Not like last year.

Exactly, although it is early in the season. I dont think there is the dramatic need to upturn the team. Just maybe tweak it abit.
The Lefties are on board.

I would like to say either wed or thursday of next week. I will know for sure tomorrow. Plus we will all know what we need for sure after this week.

The Waterboys have returned from vacation to find an 0-2 team that appears to have just barely managed to avoid going 0-3 (thank you, Jason Campbell). Even more disturbing is to see a pathetic 1-2 Bears team looking up at the undefeated Packers. Sexy Rexy needs to spend some time on the bench.
To those that sent me trade proposals that went unanswered, my apologies. I'm back in the game now, assuming that I don't lose too many brain cells during the Fest.

Well i expect to lose tonight, that NO defense couldnt stop anyone esp Vince young. !2 points is a narrow margin to expect him not span.

Yep - McAllister out for the season, though Alexander is likely to still play.
And you gotta be able to gloat sometime!!
True enough. The Lefties will rise again.

At least I was able to grab Stecker to try to compensate for the loss of McAllister. All signs point to Alexander still being able to run. I lost out on Brian Leonard though, but I question whether he'll be able to really do anything significant.
Most importantly...let the Brian Griese era begin!

Sep 26 2007, 10:11 am
I lost out on Leonard also, damn those waivers! Hopefully Jackson will only be out for one week.
Courchene
Sep 26 2007, 10:44 am
I had to pull the trigger on Leonard, as starting RBs dont often materialize midyear (mostly because team managers carry backups as insurance). I do not really need him, though, as I have 2 other 'mid-level' RBs. For the Rams sake, I hope SJax comes back soon. Groin pulls tend to linger, though...
Trade offers for Leonard (or Jones-Drew or Foster) are always welcome.
If better players are available via waivers over the coming weeks, I will regret giving up the #1 waiver spot.
Hazza
Sep 26 2007, 10:50 am
I also missed out on Leonard, despite being high on the waiver list.
In hindsight I should have gone for Stecker, as he's now Bush's back-up...

With Grossman out then benson becomes more important. I am happy with shaulb and know Kubialk will provide him with a good season. trade offers are being accepted for bell/wyn and possibly benson.

We saw: first you offered a QB (Grossman) , and at the same time you wanted one.

Even if Grossman regains his starting spot - he's still gonna be shit
At least if he doesn't play, there's no chance of him scoring negative points for you...

Mate, Blind Freddie can see that Grossman is crap...in fact it was because you played Grossman over Shaub that you lost - otherwise that 1 point loss would have been a comfortable win.

Grossman doesn't have the balls. He breaks down in pressure. I thought Romo was the same, but he has proved me wrong.

unlikely, unless the injury is more than advertised...
expect Foster will run and run and run some more...
Carr is a fill in at best
as a Donko fan, i hope Cutler breaks out today (i have hoped for this since last season)
