American fantasy football league

Middle of June, summer is racing along. Who is commish? Online or in flesh? Is the league full and fixed at 14? Yahoo this year?

I think JJ has a possible replacement suggestion instead of Yahoo for the new league.

I'm a slavish devotee of CBS Sportsline. I wouldn't force it upon everyone since it is not a free site, but I think the cost spread across 12-14 teams is worth it. I've already renewed my US league on this site and corrected my contact information, so I will hopefully be receiving the draft board from them this year which we could use for the TT league. We made due with a makeshift board last year, but it just wasn't the same.

@PES - You should know that your proxy will absolutely refuse to draft Michael Vick. Plan accordingly.

We have booked our flights to Lobsterland (Maine) from August 21st through the first week in September. I hope we meet for the draft before then.

I spoke to Keith (new Arc owner) about this and he said we could do a draft during the day on a Sunday, as we did last year. Seemed to work well then, didn't it?

I can do the 5th of August, but if Hazza can't on the 12th, then that is the only date in August I can make it. I have a proxy if that fails. I appreciate Hazza's offer to return!

I just saw an error in my last post though - I'll be in Munich until the middle of next year, not the middle of next season. So I'll actually be here for the whole season, which is better for the comp.

Also, I had a look at the CBS Fantasy Football site. It looks good to me. Costs under $10 each to enter, but then we won't have to pay extra individually to get stat-tracker - looks like there's more info available and more flexibility on the scoring. Looks like the price is a special until 12 July, so we need to decide soon whether to use it, or pay more later.

Let's start getting entry confirmations here. Preference given to those who have entered in previous seasons, but if there's anyone who hasn't been involved, then let us know on this thread. First in get first free spots - several people have left Munich, so I'm sure a few spots will open up.

If we settle on the 5th (of August) for a live draft at the Arc the Lefties will be on hand, meaning my Cookie would be released (for one season ) as our proxy. Cookie may then be open (for a few beers) to serve another squad?
