Speaking of not noticing things... I never realized that the Neues Rathaus has a labyrinth. Cool.

Related to that, does anyone know of any good, large hedge mazes in Bayern?

Not at the moment, but out in the country there are often corn-labyrinths before harvest (whenever that is: autumn?). I've seen loads of them and there seems to be more every year.

not much of a labyrinth. There's only one way round. U can't get lost!

That was actually painted by some escaped prisoners during WWII to allow for better targeting of the city center by bombers.

You can't actually see the labyrinth right now because they've built some kind of marquee over the top of it.

Trust you Phil! smile.gif

Why do you only say "apparently"?

Are you speaking from experience? wink.gif

Yes, it's a labyrinth, see Labyrinth@wikipedia. A single-path ("unicursal") labyrinth has only a single, Eulerian path to the centre (whatever that means). You're thinking of a maze. wink.gif
