Epicurious, the web site for bon appetit and gourmet magazines. excellent recipe finder including a really nifty advanced search which allows you to specify ingredients, method of cooking, etc., and then it spits out recipes. they have a recipe saver feauture (registration required) which is very handy as well. i like their recipes because there are user reviews of them and people often give feedback with changes they have made.

I use All Recipes and Epicurious. But most often I just plug ingredients or ideas into Google with the word "recipe" included.

I agree with those who say Allrecipes. That site has never let me down. Got a great recipe off there for chicken in a white wine sauce. Yum!

Only occasional problem with allrecipes is that nearly all of the recipes are catered towards American tastebuds. Often heavy on the cream and sugar, low on the spice. I'd recommend looking at a few recipes of the same thing and reading the reviews to get an idea of the amount of flavouring to use.

Google has a new recipe search engine. I haven't tried it out much and can't seem to find the direct link on first go, but I thought I'd let all of you know so you can go and explore.
