why do they not have little warning signs on them when you buy them? Obviously necessary. The most interesting parts are the excuses, "I fell off a table while I was vacuuming and it got stuck"... "I was vacuuming the car naked..."

Here is a little test to see how cool you were at school, if you had the right fashion, the right friends, listened to the right music, that sort of thing.

Or on the other hand were you the one that nobody liked, the one that never got invited to parties and always had tricks played on them?

Finally how do you compare now that you have grown up, or in some cases outwards?

The 'Brief-Safe' from Shomer-Tec

QUOTE
The "Brief Safe" is an innovative diversion safe that can secure your cash, documents, and other small valuables from inquisitive eyes and thieving hands, both at home and when you're traveling. Items can be hidden right under their noses with these specially-designed briefs which contain a fly-accessed 4" x 10" secret compartment with Velcro closure and "special markings" on the lower rear portion. Leave the "Brief Safe" in plain view in your laundry basket or washing machine at home, or in your suitcase in a hotel room - even the most hardened burgler or most curious snoop will "skid" to a screeching halt as soon as they see them. (Wouldn't you?) Made in USA. One size. Color: white (and brown).

http://www.midomi.com/ -- record yourself singing something, maybe a tune that's in your head and you can't remember the name, and upload it, and this database tells you what it is. Providing you're relatively accurate -- but as the site grows, the accuracy of the database grows and even worse renditions of songs will still be recognized due to the sheer mass... wow. You can also compete with people asynchronously if you're too shy for real-life karaoke.

Meebo.

Web-based Instant Messaging. You can conglomerate all your IM accounts into one web-based IM. Supports MSN, AIM, GoogleTalk, Yahoo, Jabber and ICQ. You can sign into them all simultaneously, like Adium or Trillian, using a Meebo account. Simple but very handy, especially for web-based chatting when you're away from your own computer, say when you're travelling and can only get online in a cafe or someone elses computer. Web 2.0 at its best, it has much of the functionality of a desktop messenger app, complete with chatlogging, detailed rollovers of contacts, userpic management, group chat.

Enjoy.

Heavy Metal album cover art dude, Par Olofsson. Not that I particularly like his stuff, but the bandnames are so wonderfully OTT, like "Shrunken Cadaveric Entwinement - As The Shroud Of Suffering Suffocates The Land". Delicious.

Or "Insidious Decrepancy (sic) - Extirpating Omniscient Certitude". Beautiful.

Or "Spawn Of Possession - Noctambulant". It rocks when Scandinavian Mentallists swallow their Christmas dictionaries.

Wait, one more, "Odious Mortem Cryptic Implosion". Thrilling.
