How to archive your personal messages

When message box is full, save your PMs to a file

Just found this feature that I hadn't seen before. Thought it might be useful to mention it here since some people have said to me before that they had to delete their PMs due to lack of space...

Is there anyway to do this and still keep the formatting? I find the email I get a bit confusing. Or is there anyway to download pms (so I can burn them all on CD)?

I also found it randomly picks the 50 messages... It will archive one but not the next, I don't know if this feature really works so well.

Normally I would print them out but...it's not worth the tree. I just want to burn them all on CD.

You could copy and paste them into a Word document and then burn that to a CD. It's a lot of work though.

Hmmm. True, but that would take up a ton of time.

My PM box was at 99% and i've just blown the whole lot away, quite a cathartic experience actually. smile.gif

The limit of 50 messages on the archiving is a bit crap though.

Rather, yes. It's probably low so that people don't break the server archiving 1000 PMs at once.
