Hey,
I am currently exploring German language schools in Munich. At first, I was thinking Goethe, but then when I recovered from my sticker shock, I realized I could probably find something else on par quality-wise for a lesser cost. I've been thinking about the DID Institute, and it sounds good, but does anyone have the inside track?
Thanks!

Went to DESK myself...bit pricey, but the instructors are good. (I just don´t have a nack for languages)
There are others that are better and cheaper. Inlingua for one.

Not heard specifically of that one...but here is the lowdown on most schools in Munich:
Learning GermanI first tried Inlingua...I was not all that impressed and it was more pricey than what we wanted to pay. Now we are at Klartext and really enjoying it. Price is good too...100 euros for 5 weeks.
I went to Inlingua years ago, was very happy. I studied two nights a week, and then worked days, it was slow, but I had then time to digest and practice my lessons. I went into work the next day, and said, okay last night I learned ... and help me out! My office was very good about it too.

I did DID. Its the one on Arnulf Str by
Hauptbahnhof isnt it ? My experiences with the place werent the best. Cheap but the classes are quite big and have a very wide range of ability and tend to focus on helping the lower levels students (especially the cute
Au pairs !)
Also, in the time I was there we had 3 different teachers with very different teaching styles.
I would look at Sprachbörse on Rotkreuzplatz. Reasonable rates when I last looked and definitely better quality of teaching/school than DID. Sprachbörse follows (followed ?!) the Themen Neu language books. DID didnt follow anything.
