@HanZi

Are you serious about that? I can remember those years ago doing my licence back in Oz, my instructor said it's not only legal, but encouraged to drive bare foot. That way, you can 'feel' whats going on with the engine, the brake pads, and for newer cars, the ABS.
UrbanAngel
dunno 'bout oz, but he's right about germany. iwweguw.

If you are driving barefoot you cannot brake properly in an emergency. In a normal situation you do gain some more feeling for the pedals but when you have to drop anchors it's hard to floor the brake pedal when you're barefoot.

Amen, Tuca. Havaianas are the only true flip-flop.

"The addictive nature of these flip flops is largely due to a 42-year old secret rubber formula, which makes them butter-soft, bouncy, flexible and durable. "

They used to be hard to find outside Brazil, but after they were slipped into the Oscars goodie bags a few years ago and celebrities like Britney Spears and Kate Moss started singing their praises, they can be found almost anywhere.

I'm wearing one of my many pairs right now.

if you live near the beach, then flip-flops are a must. as any self respecting surfer will tell you, reefs are the only way to go - particularly reef smoothy's.
