Any advice on good degree or certificate art programs (or even community classes) here in Munich? Also on where to find studio space to rent/share?

Haven't had much luck searching so far; Munich Art Academy apparently only accepts students under age 30 (what's up with that??), and LMU program from what I can tell seems more focused on pedagogical/teaching aspect than I would like.

I just want to find a program or classes that would allow me to get lots of hands-on instruction in a variety of media, and finding a place outside the classroom where I can slop around paint on huge canvases would be nice, too :-) (god forbid I should get a speck of paint on our landlady's 30-year-old disintegrating carpeting in the tiny workspace I've been banished to on the sun porch)...

Cant really help you out because my studio is in regensburg...but wish you best of luck and remember these two personal rules of mine...light is your best friend and if you have to use paper 300 gram(140 lb) hot press is the best( Fabriano is easily accessable)
good luck!
