A mate worked with
Wrigley straight out of uni back in Oz a couple of years ago, but was only there for a little bit as they were shutting up shop. What job are you going for?

Not really going for a specific job yet, but I'm looking for somehting in Marketing or HRM... or any other non-technical job really, just something to give me some experience and get my foot in the door.

Will try and get a hold of him, but I think he was more in Accounting. Apologies, but will see what he can muster.

If you can bring a "fresh breath" of air to the company, maybe you can make a "mint" working there...

Could be. I think they may have relocated to one (maybe two) factories, as I'm quite sure a building in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne was closed down. Maybe I got a relocation mixed up with thinking that the company's gone to poo.

There was a massive re-organisation of the company a few years ago after the original Mr (Sam?)
Wrigley died and was superceded by one of his sons. There was massive rationalisaton which converged many of the European and International functions of sales, marketing, IT, and production development on the offices in
Unterhaching and Ismaning. The company continues to function strongly with the monopoly in gum worldwide...
