Kitchen hob with gas canister

We are wanting to get an electric oven and gas hob combo where the gas is fed by a canister that is stored under the hob I believe?

I have heard of such things but have never seen one myself.

Has anyone any experience of buying and using such a thing here? I am looking for info on where to buy the hob itself and how easy it is to use/maintain and what the costs are like.

NEFF make them (even with mixed plates so a gas wok ring with an electric griddle plus Ceran rings for example) as do AEG Electrolux (Competence range), Siemens Group...

Two separate units is however significantly cheaper but depends on the size o your kitchen.
