To update the last post, I didn't realize it was after midnight. So, same time, same place today? Can we get enough people to get a game going??

I know this is late notice, but does anyone have any gauze or a bandage they could bring along? Sandals + my big toe + escalator step's teeth + my clumsiness = ouch.

Jun 15 2005, 4:04 pm
@BSF: Fool. And yes, I do. I'll bring it along.
...which reminds me. I normally bring along a little first aid kit, but last week when we needed it (for the first time ever due to some glass fragments from a bottle) I'd forgotten to bring it. If anyone else has similar it might be a good idea to bring it along each time, then we have a greater chance of being able to cope with any problems [which will, of course, never happen if we have a first aid kit there]

Great game yesterday! Tons of fun as always. Sorry for causing it to end early after I got the disc in the face!
About Sunday, Wetter.com and wetter.de put the high temperature at 28 or 29 deg C (82 to 84 deg F). Do we want to push this to 6pm, or can we deal with the heat and play at 4pm? Looks like we'll have to move to the Dientlindenstrasse location if it's at 4pm.

As mentioned at the beer garden, I'm away from frisbee for the next two weeks at conferences. I'm delgating Andy to choose the spot for Sunday by the end of Saturday, and for Wednesday by about 4pm Wednesday.
I'll be watching with interest...

Ben's weather website calls for 25 deg C (77 deg F) at 4pm. I say we leave the time for Sunday at
4pm, and move to the
Dientlindenstrasse location (we won't get space at G-strasse at this time). I would advise bringing some water.
Any objections?

Anyone up for a game tonight at 6pm? I will miss tomorrow and it is too long to wait till next sunday - who knows what it will be like then.
Let's get a game going.

I would be up for it, but I may work until eight, but I will run on over as soon as I am done if you all are still playing. If there is a chance I can be done sooner, I will be there.

Oh, we all feel so friggin sorry for you, Ben...

Anyways, hope you're enjoying your trip, sounds like it. We all await your triumphant return.
Now down to business. Scorcher tomorrow. Wetter.com has the temperature at 30 deg C (86 deg F), but cloudly. Even on bright sunny Wednesdays, we usually don't have much of a problem finding a spot at G-strasse. Therefore, the location/time for
Wednesday (tomorrow) is
Gieselastrasse at
6pmOf course, we need the subliminal message from Family Guy:

Reporting from Garching: Cloudy, warm. Me and my three Danish friends shall be arriving around 6pm to whip some frisbee butt...
If the weather stays dry we are going for a freshly chilled WB afterwards.

Well, looks like no one is stepping to the plate!
The temperature high for tomorrow is supposed to be 28 deg C (82 deg F). Seems like we should move it to 6pm. At that point, there's usually space by Gieselastrasse, right? So let's say Gieselastrasse at 6pm. If necessary, moving to the alternate location is possible.
If anyone who is going wishes to change this, please feel free.

It's always hard to call a late game - either you can't go because of the heat or the time...
Wetter.com has thunderstorms in the morning but 25 and cloudy for the afternoon.
I'm in - Monday will be an easy day anyway...exhaustion or hangover will have a negigible effect.
I prefer G-strasse location to play, but Hirshau to drink - ahh the dilemma...
It'll probably take the better part of the afternoon to dry out. -6 is good for me.
anyone else?
Cam
ps. I used to be able to take my liquids straight, but I find I have to dilute them with increasing amounts of alcohol as I get older...
As long as the weather's not too bad, I'll be there.

How did the game go Sunday? Did enough people show?
For Wednesday, it looks like another warm day. Wetter.com is predicting storms in the evening, but we can try to play anyways. Those forecasts can change quickly as well.
Normal time and place for Wednesday: Gieselastrasse at 6pm
I'll be a little late, but will be there.

I showed at Gislelastr at 5:45, stayed until 630, as far as I could tell no one was there. Anyone play at the other locale? It was crowded where I was and those damn supermodels that were topless were so annoying
Ok, ok, I'll be there this time, I swear. Last week I had to run a bunch of errands to prep for my trip to Paris (took the g/f for our two year...) and also got some stuff for working on my Frisbee... I can't ever leave well enough alone

. We'll see how this turns out...
@Jawn - after looking at the
archives, I think the play was at the d-strasse location at 4pm rather than G-strasse at 6.
