Ultimate Frisbee - Wednesdays and Sundays

Well jayhay might be tossing something tonight but it won't be a frisbee: was just talking to him and as he was in a hurry he asked me to post on here that his plans changed and he won't be able to make it out after all.

On the other hand, I would love to play myself but I'd have to go home and grab my sports gear first so it all depends on what time I leave work. Elibas, I'll keep you posted per sms and will try to post on here once I have a better idea.

I should get there at about 6:15pm, hopefully a few other peeps show up otherwise I'll try to join the Touch rugby group.

Elibas just headed that way, but she wont be there before 6:45 or so (riding bike from Putzbrun).
I'm stuck at work for a while, but might make it out late to join for a beer after.

Would we maybe want to change the location today to Dietlindenstr. so that we can run into Hirschau for the game? Chinese Tower will be packed.

I don't mind which location it is, but I definitely would like to play a bit of Ultimate tonight.

Forget frisbee. I'm jumping in the Eisbach near the Hirschau location at around 18:00 and then heading to the beer garden. Who's in?

To be fair there was only 3 of us and the 3rd one arrived past 7pm. It would have made it 4 with you I agree but there is not much to do with just 4 players and it would have involved 1 hour of waiting just throwing around.

The 3 of us just ended up joining the Touch Rugby peeps who were more than happy to have us as half their team didn't show. Was good fun and definitely great exercise!

Anyhoo I'll be there tonight, around 6 / 6:30. MoiLV's idea makes sense but I'll just go to whichever location is picked.

I shall be there as well. (Hooray for being in town on a Wednesday for once.) And I will bring along a visitor or two.

See you all at the Giselastrasse location. It is easy to get to Hirschau from there anyway, although I am now 50 / 50 for watching the game there as I might have other plans, I'll see where my mood takes me.

It's too freaking hot out for frisbee. Try ultimate Eisbach and then a good table for the game at Hirschau!

After the Germany game last week experience says it's too late to go on mass and try to get a table after frisbee. Need to have a good crowd there holding down the fort first.

You guys act like we play for 3 hours. We'll be there at 8 at the latest.. plenty of time to grab a table.

I'm up for the brains idea of ultimate Eisbach. How does that work though, who can hold there head under the longest?

Well it's just for the last Germany game it was pretty full by 7.30. If you go up on mass after 8 you'll be miles away from the screen. As long as some people are there early it should be fine though.

Alright Alright...I got my Turkei flag andMuffin's got her German one. I hope nobody knows we're both ausländers! We're coming or maybe she's staying home. At any rate i'm getting ready to get over there. M

Great time yesterday for those that made it. We played 5 on 5 in the wind (good fun), some jumped in the eisbach, and still managed to see the semifinal EM game (thanx to those that went to Hirschau early to save seats).

Weather looks OK for Sunday, but ... sunday night is the finals. Should we play ultimate a bit earlier to try and ensure that we can get some seats for the game? Discussion opened ;-O)

It's a gorgeous day and I'll be there with a few more new faces. And to Ice9: We start at 4pm due to the warmer temps.

OK. It's hot out, and no one took the bait on my suggestion to play earlier, so we'll stick with 4pm today at Hisrchau. We might need a few volunteers to go to the beergarten quickly and hold tables while others go for a dip in the eisbach.
