Ultimate Frisbee - Wednesdays and Sundays

I'll be out of action for the next 3 weeks (family visiting & travel plans). Have fun tonight and see you freaks on the pitch in September!

Weather looks fine, I'll be down. Blue skies at the moment. New fisheye lens for my camera's just arrived, so will be trying to get some funky 180 degree action shots...

Yeah, it was a good game

Before last night's game I finally got around to putting an inlay into my left shoe (my legs are different lengths, how cool is that ...) and got through the game without any hip (or other) pain. I might even go for a run today. See you all on Sunday ...

Was cool to have lots of people there yesterday, even after the initial biergarten call, we still had 2 teams of 5 to keep playing. :-) And I finally got through one frisbee day without fresh tick bites. :-)

OK... it started clearing up here too. So is everyone going? Didn't see any posts about today, so I was wondering.

Did anyone make it out yesterday? We were all set to go until it started to pour around 15:30 and it didn't look like it was going to stop.

The next game will be on Wednesday at 6pm at Giselastrasse. No change there.

As regards the next Sunday game, I'd suggest we go back to the original time of 2pm, now the risk of midday heat seems well and truly over

Looking forward to Wednesday. Concerning Sundays though, 4pm does mean that you can get other things done too, and not devote the entire day to disc related activities... I'll go with the majority, but my vote is to leave it as it is. Lets powwow the point on Wednesday over some beers.

Not me I'm afraid. Weather is a bit mince and it just thundered and starting pouring again in Schwabing. Been raining quite heavily on and off all day.

I suggest we stick with 4pm for this Sunday, to avoid losing people in the transition. Then this Sunday we can make a decision about changing the start time, which should give everyone adequate forewarning.

With regards to times: Last year the Wies'n cut down regular attendance drastically - I recall a 1:1 game one day. And after Wies'n, the Wednesday games became all but extinct due to lack of daylight, and then the clocks change on the 29th of October.

Wies'n starts two weeks tomorrow!!!

I like going to the Wies'n, but generally can avoid Wednesdays and Sundays, and Frisbee provides an injection of health to the equilibrium that is very drastically offset by 5 or 6 Maß .

So, let's hear the pledges for Frisbee! (remember, there's beer afterwards too!)

Well, I'll be around for (hopefully) the next three Sundays. The first Sunday of the fest will, rather sadly, be my last TTUF session... but I pledge to play in Edinburgh all through the rest of the Oktoberfest and beyond! Incidentally, incase anyone didn't spot it I'm having a leaving dohdah in Garching at 2pm on Sat. 9th.

OK. I'm not sure if anything was decided on Wednesday, but for those who don't have internet at home I'll be bold, definitive and whatever else and say that Sunday's game will be at 4pm at the Dietlindenstrasse location.
