Quick reminder: If possible, bring both a light and a dark colored shirt. This makes it a lot easier to tell who is on which team, especially when the games get to 7v7 or 8v8! Thanks!

As promised I will post the location for Sunday's game when I can get a decent weather forcast. If it looks average, we'll be in the old (giselestrasse) location. If it looks like a corker of a day, we'll try for the new (Dietlindenstrasse and then some) location to escape the crowds.

I will attempt to post in time for Saturday morning.

Good game everyone. Afterwards I went to the curry thing, and man - I waited about 2 hours before I saw food, and I was so starving. Maybe next time it is the Murphy burger!

New to Munich and discovered the Ultimate game you guys have. I have played ultimate for a few years and will come out on Sunday to check things out. The beer and food here is taking a toll on the conditioning! I don't have internet on the weekends so I will just have to turn up and try and find you at either location. Hope to see you on Sunday!

Forcast says light rain and overcast... suggest you try Giselestrasse first. Will post definite early tomorrow morning, but if anybody arrives and we're not there it's only a ten minute walk to the other place.

OK. Weather forcast unchange. Head for the old location, near Giselestrasse at 4pm. If you arrive late, the pitches are heaving and there's no sign of orange frisbees floating about, move on the the other place: that's where we'll have gone.

Rain seems to be holding off, but its overcast so the area should be pretty open. Let's do it!

Darn, I just joined Toytown today, about 45 minutes late for today's game. I'd like to come out on Wed, assuming it's at the location on the map and Mother Nature cooperates.

GREAT game today, a lot of fun, perfect weather, except the slight wind, which was doing odd things with the disc (or maybe I just can't throw...). Got really intense and very fun during the best of three game at the end. I'm still not over not holding on to my diving attempt near the end. I just would have looked so cool.

BSF: Yeup... you just can't throw.

Anyway... Thanks to everyone for turning up. I have a mystery plan for the next session -- I could tell you but that would spoil the suprise. It will only work if we have enought people though...

Was good fun for my first time (aside from the body check). I can't make Wednesdays, but I'll be back next Sunday.

Good workout yesterday. Had a great time. Very welcoming for the newcomer. I'll be away for the next couple of games but when my wife and son get here at the end of the month we will try and come out regularly! Looking forward to it.

P.S. I will try and bring back some Ultimate cones to mark the field out a bit better.

Forcast, schmorcast. I'll almost certainly be there rain or shine. I'll have to save my mystery plan for Sunday if we don't get many players. If I get bored later today I might spend some time divulging the mystery plan.

Benpanther (oops I mean Benpanter, although I kind of like Benpanther) I am anxious with anticipation of the mystery surprise. Please, give us a hint...i may not be able to sleep tonight because I'll be so excited.

we had a great time on sunday. I hope all of those that got roughed up in a collision of sorts are healing well. That was a very exciting game! and Seehaus is my new favorite. I love their pretzels and weiners (or I should say Cam's pretzel and bella's weiner, thanks for sharing ) Also, loved meeting all the new people.

ok, fiiiinally I'm back in town for a couple of weeks in a row. I'll be out tomorrow... can't wait. Definitly won't say that I'm well rested, but I'd definitly say I need to get some physical activity!

Great to see so many people willing to come rain or shine! Just a thought for next time. Would anyone be interested in having the game at the end be a best of 5 (first to 3)? It got very fun and intense at the end (and I even think all the collisions were before the game), so I wouldn't mind making it a little longer (no jokes...). (If this is benpanters huge mystery, it deserves to be revealed, because that would be a weak big mystery!)

Parnell: Most people play in sneakers (tennis shoes to the rest of the English-speaking world?). If it's wet, cleats/boots might be a good idea, but no necessary. Would just make for some more interesting slides!

Yeup, ended up being too busy today to reveal the big mystery, what with friends at the airport and car in the garage. You'll just have to turn up tomorrow and see what happens...

@parnell: You don't really need studded/cleated shoes to play. Just a pair of trainers should do the trick.

Tomorrow is looking to be a great day for UF, can't wait to get back out onto the field. The chance of rain (according to weather.com) falls to 50% at 6pm!!! Thats great! Much better than the 100% chance earlier in the day! Think about it, if your going to get out tomorrow, why not do it when there is the least chance of rain!?! I mean, come on, it could be hours before the temp gets above 12C. You can't just sit around any wait a day because it's going to rain, and will be better the next day... thats a waste of a 50% chance of rain right there!

Oh, we better have a freakin' game of ultimate today. I just traveled all the way out to Garching, and guess what? No lectures today. Normally that would be a nice surprise. But when you travel an hour each way, it should be worth something! I need ultimate to bring this day back on track.

And after the morning i had at work i really need to get out there and run around to destress.

I had a horrible day Monday, and then again on Tuesday... so I, too, could really use a good running around in the rain.

I think its been raining solid for the last 4 hours or so ... albeit not very heavily ... i only brought shorts and a t-shirt ... can folks skinnydip in the Isar ?
