People you knew, then discovered are on TT too

So, anyway. I had this gig last Saturday. Some TT'ers turned up. First UrbanAngel, who I recognised immediately as the nice girl who had dealt with me on the enquiries desk of a rather large organisation.

Then Tom17 turns up. I recognise his face, but can't place it. In discussion later it turns out he had raced Mini Se7en's in the UK and had rolled his car in my catchment area.

I also think I have seen Eric The Hamster at Silverstone before.

Bloody small world.

Does anybody else have these kind of experiences?

Me & parnell where just about to kill each other (literally), and, as you do, we decided to meet for a beer instead.

Yeah I have had a few. Another which springs to mind is me finding out that a guy's father I know from Edinburgh (guy is flatmate of family) actually works at the same place I do (in Munich). So I send the father an email introducing myself. Then get an invitation to a presentation by someone else, held by none other than this guy's father. So I go along, and low-and-behold, I already know him! Eaten with him in a beergarden, been to meetings with him etc, just never knew his name. Very weird

Last time I met Editor Bob, we suddenly found out that we are twins separated at birth. I took one look at his hands and what do you know, we both have five fingers on each hand. Amazing!!!

I haven´t as yet run into anyone I know who is on TT. But I am running into people who know where Woodinville is and what it is like.
