i am definitely in for this one.
Moley
Am in need of some decent music over a decent sound system, count me in.

Dude was good last time and it was definately busy. Just wish I'd stayed a bit longer.

Anyone fancy meeting up for a few drinks before hand?
Moley
Edit: Double post not intended...
xargon
Moley: He gets better as the night progresses smile.gif Technically up there with the best, I think.

Do not miss this one people!

Was at Cocoon last weekend - very cool interior, although, quite over-rated!!

I think we went too early though, I guess it's the place to be at 4am ...

Anyone else been?
xargon
Been to Cocoon. Loved it...Ya, the place does not start swingin' seriously till before 3 am.
SquirrelGirl
What kind of music are we talking about here? What's his speciality? I haven't heard any good beats since Meat Katie at the Garden a few weeks ago... so would consider going out for this one. smile.gif
xargon
techno, electro, trance.. He started off in the techno scene but has moved on to many genres.

edit: I have seen him live once with Ritchie Hawtin and it was absolutely sensational. I would definitely recommend this one.
SquirrelGirl
Sounds delicious, xargy! Will try to make it out to this one... squirrel tail could use a little shakin' tongue.gif

After my frankly stupid behaviour last weekend, I don't think i will be going to this one sad.gif However, I will agree with everything said here, and say that yes, Sven Vath is indeed a mighty techno lovegod, who wears great big shiny techno pants.
xargon
@worm: What happened last weekend man? smile.gif
Izabella
last weekend must have been a good one for 'frankly stupid behavior'/// who does a jaeger shot directly followed by a tequila shot directly followed by blink.gif

@Izabella: Go on..., finish it tongue.gif

And where were you whilst doing this ^ ? We had great fun in Prinzip, followed by an entire day of playing fancy dress.. blink.gif

If we can't get in, two other fantastic options:

John Acquaviva (seminal Detroit DJ) is spinning at the Garden
Magda (Richie Hawtin's protoge) is at Harry Klein

Any of these shows should be worthwhile.
worm
ooh yeah John Aquaviva, very very good booking!

I might pop into that for a quick look, but no partying for me!!! sad.gif

No such thing, my friend...no such thing. YOu have no idea how many times I have said that or the phrase "I am never going to drink again!"
rubber duck
well, now I have my usual problem, can´t decide were to go unsure.gif
either badeanstalt and garden sounds tempting, bugger

as moley asked before, someone´s up for a pre clubbing drink?
perhaps around Münchner Freiheit?
Moley
Somewhere around Münchner Freiheit is good for me...
worm
So who went to this?

I heard yesterday (saturday) a while before the event that Sven Vath wasn't turning up and Pascal Feos was playing instead. Personally I find Pascal Feos boring as fuck - so did anyone go? Was Pascal Feos boring? I heard it was busy though (with a lot of pissed off people I imagine)

John Aquaviva wasn't as busy as I'd hoped, but the music was brilliant.
xargon
Did not make it... was i´n Switzerland unsure.gif

Looks like I did not miss much then.
Moley
Turned up but decided against parting with my beer tokens when I deciphered the message that Sven wasn't playing. Alot of people stayed, probably because of the reduced entry.

Think I'll make a night of it on Weds with the Chumps League at Guenther Murphy's and some decent beats at The Garden instead.
